VSI-1000 Vertical Speed Indicator
The Industrologic VSI-1000 is a great alternative to cumbersome mechanical devices for determining vertical speed, especially when using a data logger like our PDAS-3. Its voltage output can be recorded right along with your other data, and requires no more than a quick adjustment for field elevation and atmospheric pressure before use. (This adjustment can be made without knowing either of these conditions and does not require any additional equipment.)
