USDAC12 Universal Serial 12 Bit Digital to Analog Converter - $19
The Industrologic USDAC12 is a small printed circuit board assembly designed to add analog output capability to microcontroller based Industrologic products and other microcontroller based circuits.
The circuit is based on a line of Microchip 12 bit serial DAC chips, and can be ordered with either the MCP4921 (single channel external voltage reference) or the MCP4822 (dual channel internal voltage reference).
The USDAC12 features a wide power supply voltage range including +5 volts, screw terminal block connections for easy wiring, a 3 logic level control signal interface (SPI protocol), and on-board pullup resistors on control signals for use with circuits that have open collector outputs.
The board also includes an on-board power bypass capacitor and analog output filter capacitors.
