The Industrologic TC51 is a microcontroller based single board computer
designed to be a complete industrial controller assembly that is easy
to program and connect to external signals. It includes a versatile
complement of input and output circuitry needed by many common control
applications. The TC51 can be programmed as a standalone controller
using its on-board Tiny Machine Basic programming language or it can
be used as an RS-232 serial data acquisition board.
- Based on the Atmel AT89C4051 microcontroller operating at 11.0592 MHZ
- Two serial RS-232 ports with true RS-232 drivers and DB9 connectors
- DB9F serial port connector and cable for easy connection to PC compatible computers
- DB9M serial port connector emulating the PC compatible serial port for easy connection to other devices
- Convenient screw terminal block connections for all digital and analog I/O
- Four 10 amp Form "C" relays with LED indicators for on/off status
- Two 12-bit analog to digital inputs
- Four logic levels signals usable as inputs or outputs including one connected to an interrupt signal
- LCD support circuitry
- Signals provided on a 16 pin .1" header connector matching most LCD connections
- On-board contrast pot
- 512 byte EEPROM for storage of small programs or configuration information
- On-board power supply with a wide input range and including +5 and +12 volt outputs for external devices
- Pin-type power connector for easy connection to wall block power supplies
- Tiny Machine Basic programming language for the TC51 (including LCD support) programmed into the microcontroller
- EEPROM based AT89C4051 can be reprogrammed using common Intel 8051/Atmel AT89Cxx51 software development tools and device programmer
