The T51-LCD is a front panel LCD and switch interface module for the Industrologic T51 Single Board Computer. It has been designed to mate with the T51 IO connector and mounting holes, and includes a one line by 16 character LCD display and 3 pushbutton switches.

The T51-LCD comes complete with the following:

  • 12 pin .1" female header to provide quick plug-in connection to the T51
  • Screw and threaded spacer kit to mount the T51-LCD not only to a T51, but to mount both boards to enclosures and panels in a variety of configurations
  • 1 x 16 LCD display based on the Hitachi HD44780 LCD display driver

The T51-LCD can be used in a variety of ways by changing the programming of the T51:

  • As a "serial LCD" module with commands of your choosing
  • As a mini RS-232 terminal that sends pre-programmed characters when the switches are pressed
  • As a switch closure to pre-programmed message unit (The caps of the on-board switches can be removed and the T51 I/O pins associated with these switches can be connected externally)
