SS422 SMPT Slave RS-422 to RS-232 Converter
The Industrologic SS422 will turn the RS-232 port on your Industrologic product into an industrial standard communication interface capable of extended wiring lengths and increased reliability. By connecting directly to the Industrologic product's RS-232 connector and power pin, the SS422 avoids the additional wiring and power supply connections that a "universal" RS-232 to RS-422 converter requires.
The pinout on the RS-422 connector is wired as a SMPTE "Slave", making your Industrologic product an easy pin-to-pin connection to a SMPTE "Master" device.
