SIO-1000 RS-232 Data Acquisition Interface - $239
The SIO-1000 RS-232 Data Acquisition Interface is a microcontroller based slave
system designed to allow easy interface to a wide variety of signals using a
common RS-232 serial port on a computer or other device.
It provides 8 bits each of logic level digital input and output, as well as 2 channels each of 12 bit resolution analog input and output. Analog inputs are to be in the range of 0 to +5VDC, and analog outputs can be jumpered to be 0 to +5VDC or 0 to +10VDC on a channel by channel basis.
The I/O signals are brought out to screw terminals for quick discrete connection, and the 8 digits inputs and 8 digital outputs are also brought out to a 50 pin double row header connector for easy connection to an industry standard 16 channel I/O module ("brick") mounting board.
The SIO-1000 also includes a Form "C" relay, as well as pulse generator and pulse counter functions.
The SIO-1000 is provided with Windows and DOS demonstration software and a prepared enclosure as part of the standard SIO-1000 package.
