The Industrologic SI5150 is an Atmel AT89C4051 microcontroller based board designed to read 50 switches or other contact closures. In addition to these contact closure inputs, it includes one external logic level I/O signal, an internal auxiliary logic level signal, an RS-232 serial port, an on-board software readable push-button switch, and a software programmable LED.

The SI5150 includes, pre-programmed into the microcontroller, a special version of Tiny Machine Basic, Industrologic's simple programming language, written for the hardware on the SI5150. By using this language the user can quickly and easily program the SI5150 to perform a number of tasks, including controlling the digital I/O line or sending character strings to a host computer in response to contact closures. The microcontroller chip can also be re-programmed using any number of software development tools available for similar Atmel microcontrollers.

The SI5150 printed circuit board is designed to mount directly into the Bud Industries PRM-14460 ABS rack/table mount enclosure. This enclosure can be quickly converted from rack mounting to table top use and includes all required brackets for both configurations.

  • Pin-type power connector for easy connection to wall block power supplies
  • Tiny Machine Basic programming language for the SI5150 programmed into the microcontroller
  • EEPROM based AT89C4051 can be re-programmed using common Intel 8051/Atmel AT89Cxx51 software development tools and device programmer
