SGAU Universal Strain Gauge Amplifier - $69

The SGAU Universal Strain Gauge Amplifier is a printed circuit board assembly designed to amplify strain gauges arranged in a full Wheatstone bridge configuration, and is suitable for many applications where a bridge or differential input amplifier is required.

The amplifier circuit is based on the Analog Devices AMP04 precision instrumentation amplifier, and includes a 5 volt regulator to provide a stable 5 volt excitation voltage to a strain gauge bridge.

The SGAU may be operated with single or dual power supply to provide single-ended or bipolar output, and includes bridge offset and circuit gain trimmer potentiometers.

The circuit board features a small size (2.0" by 1.0" by .6" thick), yet includes no surface mount components, making it easy to modify for your application's filter frequency requirements.

The printed circuit board includes screw terminal block connections for quick connections during prototyping, as well as mounting holes for easy installation in an enclosure for more permanent applications.

The SGAU is shipped with a Reference Manual complete with schematic diagram, and can be easily modified for your particular application.
