LED-8 Alphanumeric Display for the SBC-1 - $129
The Industrologic LED-8 is a companion display board for the SBC-1 that
provides an easy to interface and easy to program LED display for the SBC-1.
It features eight 0.56 inch 14-segment green LED display digits and is suitable for installation in the same temperature and humidity range as the SBC-1, that is, in an industrial environment.
The LED-8 connects to the SBC-1 via a ribbon cable to an I/O expansion port included on the SBC-1.
Messages can be displayed using software included with the SBC-1, both with a routine in the system software callable by assembly language and other low-level languages, and also with special display commands included in the TinyBASIC language.
The LED-8 comes with a Reference Manual and an 18 inch ribbon cable ready to plug into an SBC-1.
Note: Although the LED-8 obtains its power from the connection to the SBC-1, the power supply shipped with the SBC-1 does not supply sufficient current for both devices when used in most applications. A power supply rated at 12 volts regulated or unregulated at one amp is suggested when powering both devices.
