This reference lists the connections for a variety of specific manufacturer's
keypads to connector J1 on the Industrologic DR51 when the keypad connections
are numbered or otherwise identified. Note that some manufacturers do not
number the pins in sequential order or letter the pins in alphabetical order.
This reference also provides the instructions in Tiny Machine Basic for the DR51 to interpret these connections. The instructions that specify the characters associated with the switches on the keypads assume either a 12 key telephone style keypad or a 16 key telephone style keypad with additional letters. The keypads listed in this reference may be marked differently than these program lines specify, but the program lines may be changed to any character desired.
Refer to the section Keypad/Digital I/O Connector in the DR51 Reference Manual for a detailed explanation of the signals connected to J1, and in particular if you will be connecting one of the illuminated keypads listed to the DR51.
